Connecting an existing or Brivio-hosted address, sending emails and the undo window.
Connecting your identity
On first opening /mail you choose: connect an existing mailbox (Gmail, Outlook or generic IMAP) or use a Brivio-hosted address on your company domain.
For an existing mailbox you authorize access; for a hosted one, the domain is verified via the proposed DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) — deliverability depends on them.
All settings live under Mail → Settings (signatures, accounts, rules).
Sending
"Compose" opens the editor: recipients (To/CC/BCC), subject, body, attachments.
After "Send" you have a short undo window: press "Undo send" in the notification — the message doesn't leave ("Send was undone"). After the window, it's too late.
Replies and forwards keep the conversation thread; conversations linked to a contact also show on the contact's page.
Tips
Transactional emails (invoices, payslips, signing invitations) go through Brivio's sending system, not your mailbox — no setup needed here.
Automation rules can react to incoming emails (labeling, tasks) — see the automations guide.
With an account the assistant also answers on your own company data — invoices, filings, bank. Without one, you can still ask from the help center home page.
